Lily Dallow is a digital content producer for KTLA 5 News. She joined the team in August of 2024. Before moving to L.A. she worked as the digital content director for KEYT News Channel 3-12 in her hometown, Santa Barbara. She has also been a panelist, guest lecturer and freelanced for print and digital news organizations such as the Montecito Journal and Noozhawk.
90 minutes north of her hometown, Lily received her Bachelor of Science in Journalism at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Now, 90 minutes south of her hometown, Lily works as a nightside producer covering breaking news in Los Angeles and surrounding counties.
Although seemingly magnetized to the California coast, Lily sprouted from the east. She was born in New York and moved west at age 5, but spent three months every year in Massachusetts with her large and close extended family, forming her passion for traveling.
Lily’s main passion, however, has always been storytelling, and she feels lucky every day to be able to work as a storyteller for a career. In addition to journalism, she studies and works on crafting screenplays and creative stories as a side hobby.
