The countdown to the OC Fair is on, with tickets going on sale on Friday.

The fair will run from July 18 to Aug. 17, operating with controlled capacity Wednesday through Sunday. This year’s theme, “Find Your Happy!,” promises a blend of new attractions and fan-favorite traditions.

The controlled capacity model aims to enhance the fairgoing experience by reducing wait times and easing parking congestion while minimizing the impact on surrounding neighborhoods.

General admission costs $13 on weekdays (Wednesday and Thursday) and $15 on weekends (Friday through Sunday). Seniors 60 and older and children ages 6-12 can enter for $9 daily, while children 5 and younger receive free admission.

The Every Day Passport, available for $60, allows access to any day of the Fair without reservations. Only 10,000 Passports will be sold, and holders will receive additional discounts.

General parking is $15. Daily admission capacity is limited, and days are expected to sell out.

The fair will open at 11 a.m. daily and close at 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and at midnight on Friday and Saturday.

This year’s fair will feature new carnival rides, unique food creations and entertainment, such as lawn mower races and tribute bands such as Swift Nation and Bad Guy Billie.

Live entertainment at the fair includes concerts at Pacific Amphitheatre, The Hangar and Action Sports Arena, with performers such as Ludacris, Tribal Seeds, Brothers Osborne, George Thorogood and Los Ángeles Azules.
