A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Metrolink train in North Hollywood on Wednesday.
The collision occurred shortly after 11 a.m. near the 7000 block of North Tujunga Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The circumstances of the incident were not immediately available, and no information regarding the identity of the deceased person was released.

At the time of the crash, 33 passengers were on board the train. No injuries to the passengers were reported.
